Nirvana Tribe

Art that brings the city to the village.

Nirvana Tribe puts on performing-arts events in the city, and makes films about rural artists and the instruments and crafts that are being forgotten.

What it is

A stage for people who have not had one.

A non-judgemental platform for local art and artists. Open stages, gatherings and artisanal skill sessions, including work with women in the villages we farm alongside.

The people who come to its events can buy clean food from the farms, so the art also brings the city to the village.

Events in the city

Performing arts, open stages and biodiversity gatherings, open to anyone.

Films from the villages

Rural artists, instruments and crafts that are being forgotten, filmed while the people who hold them are still there to be filmed.

Food from the farms

Attendees can buy clean food grown on the farms Samam works with.
